What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning, or dermablading, is a non-invasive procedure involving a sterile surgical blade to gently remove the top layer of dead skin cells and fine facial hair, commonly known as “peach fuzz.” The skin is manually exfoliated using a sharp blade, with fine, feathering strokes which remove fine hairs and dead skin buildup.

Am I a good candidate for Dermaplaning?

If you are looking for an effective, non-invasive exfoliation treatment for your face, dermaplaning is an excellent choice for you. We do not advise this treatment for those with deep tans, sunburn, cuts or facial injuries, active acne, rosacea flareups, deep facial scarring, or inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. Please call before booking if you have any questions regarding the procedure.

What is the downtime with Dermaplaning?

There is absolutely no downtime with dermaplaning. You may have a sensitive treatment area, but you should be able to return to work same-day, and apply make-up after 24 hours.

When will I see the results of Dermaplaning?

The results of dermaplaning are immediate and last up to 4 weeks, depending on how fast your hair grows.
