What is Mesotherapy?

How Does Mesotherapy Work?
Mesotherapy works by micro-injecting a series of fat-dissolving treatments directly into the mesoderm (the layer of fat and connective tissue under the skin). We do not advise this treatment to those who are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have diabetes, liver or kidney disease, cancer, serious heart disease, a history of stroke, or blood clotting conditions. The number of Mesotherapy treatments needed depends on the size and location of the treatment area. For Mesotherapy to be most effective, 4-6 treatments are recommended at 2-4 week intervals.
Depending on the size of the treatment area and the client’s comfort level, there is little to no downtime with Mesotherapy. Patients may have a pink and sensitive treatment area but should be able to return to work the same day. They may also be able to apply make-up and return to exercise within 24-48 hours.
The results of Mesotherapy start to become visible about two weeks after treatment, once the fat has begun to break down and the skin starts to rejuvenate.
